Ivan Twohig’s paper skulls are based on a project shown at the St. Etienne Design Biennale, France in 2008 and in Fenomen IKEA at the MKG, Germany in 2009. For these exhibitions he constructed a polygonal skull using excess cardboard from IKEA and lined the edges of each triangle using the free paper measuring tapes available in the store.
This version of the skull is constructed from 16 individual sections.
